Following the Nicaragua retreat, ADIÓS partnered with Art Helix in Brooklyn, New York, for its first exhibition. Nicaragua’s local beer company, Toña, supported the opening event, which drew a diverse crowd of art enthusiasts from all over New York City. Visitors were shown a new and entirely unique perspective of Nicaragua through artwork in a variety of mediums. Printed photographs, video projections, painting, multimedia work, sculpture, and installations communicated the Nicaragua experience to a broad audience.
